AI-powered firm Simplify360 acquired by Nextiva

ARIZONA, UNITED STATES — Business communications firm Nextiva announced its acquisition of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform Simplify360 for an undisclosed amount.
Simplify360 uses AI and automation to enable more than 5,000 global businesses to provide world-class customer support across multiple channels, such as email, live chat, social media, online reviews, and e-commerce. Its customers include Amazon, Honda, HP, Nestle, HDFC, Hyundai, Canon, and Xiaomi.
The customer base of Nextiva will immediately obtain access to the services provided by Simplify360, and can anticipate a complete integration into the Nextiva platform in due course.
Nextiva aims to provide equitable access to cutting-edge technology for businesses of varying sizes, enabling them to compete with the largest tech companies.
“Conversations are the fuel of business growth. From day one, Nextiva’s vision has been to bring together all communication channels into a single stream of conversations with productivity, customer and contact management, and collaboration tools,” said Nextiva Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Tomas Gorny.
Nextiva is a leading company in the field of connected communications. It facilitates billions of conversations annually through its cloud-based business phone systems, team messaging, video meetings, and other services.
The acquisition of India-based Simplify360 enables Nextiva to enter the Asia-Pacific market. Goldman Sachs-backed and possessing over 50 patents, Nextiva was valued at US$2.7 billion during its first and most recent financing round in late 2021.
