Confie acquires Estrella Insurance

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Confie, America’s largest personal lines insurance distributor, announced the acquisition of Estrella Insurance, a move expected to bolster the company’s franchising division and widen its reach within Florida.
Estrella Insurance, a long-standing player with over four decades of experience, operates over 190 locations across Florida, California, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado. The company is known for its comprehensive insurance solutions and exceptional customer service, and its insurance portfolio spans auto, home, commercial, business, life, and health insurance.
Estrella will continue to operate under its established brand, and Confie has given assurances that all existing employees will be retained following the acquisition.
Confie’s CEO, Cesar Soriano, expressed excitement about the acquisition, lauding Estrella’s strong franchising model that has earned trust among Hispanic consumers and business owners. “Franchising allows us to broaden our customer reach, and accelerate our growth into new markets. Americans are entrepreneurial by nature, and we proudly will offer them the choice between three trustworthy brands,” Soriano said.
Last year, Confie’s national brand, Freeway Insurance, initiated franchising opportunities, enabling entrepreneurs to tap into the company’s established business model, respected brand, and a wide array of insurance carriers. The company soon followed this by acquiring Velox Insurance in December, primarily offering franchises to business owners in Georgia.
In addition to the Estrella acquisition, Confie also recently announced the expansion of its business process outsourcing division, launching a new service center in Tijuana, and extending its InsureOne brand by way of an agency network for independent insurance agents. The company has been consecutively ranked as the #1 Personal Lines Leader by Insurance Journal for seven years.
“Confie’s expansion plans rely on strategic acquisitions, and we welcome that challenge. We are actively seeking great partners to join the Confie family,” said Chad Maxwell, Senior Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at Confie.
