Sagility announces nearshore operations expansion to Colombia
COLORADO, UNITED STATES — Sagility, a technology-driven business process management (BPM) services provider, announced its expansion to Barranquilla, Colombia.
This development amplifies its nearshore operational capabilities and aims to add 650 on-site and remote jobs to the country’s blossoming business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. The company envisages extending its workforce to 2,000 employees in the region within the next three years.
With its bilingual talent pool, adept customer service abilities, educated workforce, and cultural affinity to the United States, the Barranquilla center strengthens Sagility‘s BPM offering. “Sagility’s entry into Colombia’s BPO industry will build on promising growth the industry has demonstrated in this area,” said Sagility CEO Ramesh Gopalan.
According to the Offshore BPO Confidence Index, the Colombian BPO industry achieved a confidence score of 85.1% in 2022. This global index, developed by Ryan Strategic Advisory and Cognitive Copy, evaluates factors such as the labor market, security, and stability of the BPO ecosystem, and political and economic stability.
With over 30,000 employees globally and revenues exceeding $500 million, Sagility specializes in transforming BPM services with a particular emphasis on the healthcare sector. Sagility maintains a global footprint with operations in Jamaica, the U.S., India, and the Philippines.
