Coforge targets AI to boost Indian outsourcing position

NOIDA, INDIA — IT firm Coforge is capitalizing on the growing demand for AI to strengthen its position in the outsourcing industry.
The company views AI as a key driver to raise its current $1 billion revenue to $2 billion and later $5 billion.
Coforge CEO Sudhir Singh highlighted that while many firms have an AI-centric approach, effective execution is essential for revenue growth.
Collaboration forms the cornerstone of Coforge’s AI strategy. By partnering with top academic institutions — like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Pennsylvania — they ensure their team stays ahead in AI innovation.
Additionally, Coforge is deepening relationships with clients, hyperscalers, and emerging tech players to expand its AI capabilities. Their AI Centre of Excellence exemplifies their dedication to AI innovation, backed by a strong cloud computing infrastructure.
Despite economic challenges, Coforge achieved a 5.6% growth in the US last quarter. Singh believes the expansive market offers ample opportunities, given Coforge’s relative market presence.
Singh emphasizes the need for ongoing training as the company shifts towards AI. He champions retraining in machine learning and data analytics and sees value in partnering with universities for consistent skill upgrades.
