AMD emphasizes AI’s role in future of work

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Digitization and artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming indispensable in modern business, especially as they redefine the future of work and productivity.
The rise of remote and hybrid work setups has increased the demand for enhanced connectivity and efficiency.
Gabriela Alvarado, AMD’s SMB sales manager for Mexico and surrounding regions, stresses the need for powerful computing tools today.
She added that top-notch equipment and AI-driven tools set the pace for efficiency in data management, collaboration, and multitasking.
According to McKinsey, AI has the potential to automate up to 70% of tasks that dominate the workforce’s routine, offering SMEs a competitive edge through advanced computing tools.
Alvarado highlighted the role of AI ‘co-pilots’, which understand human language, in driving a surge in productivity. Further supporting this, PWC predicts that by 2030, AI could contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy, with embedded AI processors set to elevate business operations even more.
The AMD manager added that firms must ramp up tech investments and educational initiatives to remain competitive amid the current tech skills gap.
