Food giants merge sales forces in Southern U.S.

PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES — Forward Solutions, a provider of outsourced sales and marketing services for manufacturers, announced the merger of George W. Mouk & Associates into Avision, another Forward Solutions company.
George W. Mouk & Associates has served the food service and janitorial channel in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, West Tennessee, Southern Alabama, and the Florida panhandle since 1970.
Forward Solutions plans to leverage the combined expertise of George W. Mouk & Associates and Avision to better serve customers across an expanded Southern United States footprint.
“I look forward to being part of a team of professional sales reps and the increased ability to serve our manufacturer and distributor partners,” said Lee Mouk, President of George W. Mouk & Associates.
John Shoffner, President of Avision, added, “George W. Mouk & Associates bring decades of experience in the foodservice and janitorial markets with great relationships and a tremendous track record of success. I am thrilled to have them as part of our team.”
The merger allows both companies to integrate their strengths for a seamless transition and aims to enhance service offerings and expand market presence. Financial terms were not disclosed.
This deal is part of Forward Solutions’ strategy to pursue acquisitions that complement its portfolio of sales and marketing brands. Earlier this year, Forward Solutions also acquired companies to establish a new electrical division and expand its utility division.
Forward Solutions, parent of Avision, provides outsourced sales and marketing services through business strategy, intelligence, HR, and IT. Avision, on the other hand, offers sales, marketing, and support services to manufacturers and distributors in facility maintenance, cleaning, hygiene, food service, and more.
