NTT DATA acquires Conexos
BIELEFELD, GERMANY & VITORIA, BRAZIL — NTT DATA Business Solutions has augmented its software lineup by acquiring Conexos, Brazil’s top solution provider for trading firms.
Established in 1998, Conexos offers specialized services to the retail, trading, logistics, and commodity sectors, primarily through its flagship Global Trade Management (GTM) software, “Conexos Cloud.”
The platform ensures streamlined foreign trade management, spanning international logistics, customs processes, currency exchange, and taxation.
NTT DATA Business Solutions CEO, Norbert Rotter, stated, “Our goal is to provide our Brazilian customers with a comprehensive SAP and own software solution that is tailored to their specific needs. With Conexos, we offer a GTM software that effectively facilitates the work of our customers and can be easily integrated into SAP through its existing API structure.”
Post-acquisition, over 300 Conexos clients will transition to the NTT/NTT DATA umbrella. Furthermore, with Conexos Cloud’s current availability in Brazil, there’s potential for expansion throughout Latin America, given its adaptability to regional companies with Spanish and English versions.
NTT DATA Business Solutions, part of the NTT DATA group, recently reported strong financial results for fiscal year 2022/2023. From April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, the company achieved significant revenue growth of 14.7% to €1.42 billion (US$1.5 billion), up from €1.24 billion (US$1.3 billion) in the prior fiscal year.
