Accenture acquires change management firm The Storytellers

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Global professional services company Accenture has acquired The Storytellers, a UK-based creative management consultancy.
The acquisition will boost Accenture’s capabilities in transformational change and narrative consulting. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2003, The Storytellers partners with CEOs and executives to craft narratives that drive organizational change and boost performance. The consultancy combines storytelling expertise with skills training, communications, and immersive digital and live experiences to help leaders motivate colleagues and customers.
The Storytellers has worked with over 200 clients, including FTSE 100 companies and public sector organizations. Its team of approximately 20 professionals will join Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice.
“A compelling vision and narrative are now fundamental for driving change, and [The Storytellers] bring deep understanding of the transformative power of a story,” said Tim Good, Accenture’s Talent & Organization/Human Potential lead in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).
The acquisition builds on Accenture’s recent investments in its human capital capabilities, including 2021 deals with Cirrus, Future State and Root Inc.

The Storytellers employs approximately 50 professionals who will join Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice.
