Amplix acquires ‘substantial assets’ of Go2

MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES — Technology advisory service and software provider Amplix has acquired “substantially all of the assets” of Go2 Communications, Inc. (Go2). The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001, Go2 provides customer service, information technology optimization guidance, and technology spending recommendations to approximately 80 enterprise and small- and mid-sized business customers.
“We look forward to partnering with the Go2 team and integrating their expertise in enterprise-level infrastructure deployment into the Amplix offering,” said Joe DeStefano, Chief Executive Officer of Amplix.
Amplix serves about 3,500 clients across the U.S. in fields including customer experience, data connectivity, security, managed services, cloud telephony, mobility, cloud optimization, business continuity, and data center solutions.
It offers customer experience, data connectivity, security, cloud optimization, and other tech advisory services. Amplix is a portfolio company of Connecticut-based equity firm Gemspring Capital, which has $3.5 billion of capital under management.
Amplix’s purchase of Go2 marks its fourth acquisition in four months. In October 2023, Amplix purchased advisory, consulting, and managed services firm Inflow Communications LLC and telecom consulting firm nQuery Telecom Solutions. Amplix acquired cloud, internet, contact center, and voice services provider TNS Communications the following month.
