CongruityHR appoints new CEO and CSO
NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES — Outsourced HR provider CongruityHR has appointed Michael Viola as Chief Executive Officer and Bobby Higgins as Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel. Company founder and former CEO Darrin Hunter will transition to the Board of Directors.
Viola brings over 25 years of experience in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry.
Before joining CongruityHR, Viola was Advisor and Chief Revenue Officer for HR software provider PTO Genius. He was also Chief Sales Officer for employment agency Oasis Outsourcing for 23 years.
Meanwhile, Higgins was Managing Director, Investment Professional & General Counsel at Masters Special Situations, a healthcare-focused growth equity firm he co-founded in 2020.
Higgins also Higgins held a variety of legal, investment, and operational roles, including at Sidley Austin LLP, Goldman Sachs and Arosa, a Bain Capital Double Impact portfolio company.
“Mike’s proven track record in the HR outsourcing sector and Bobby’s multifaceted experience will have a meaningful impact at Congruity as it embarks on its next chapter of growth and innovation,” said Paul Schilpp, Managing Director of RFE.
In 2021, CongruityHR received a recapitalization investment from private equity firm RFE. The equity firm invests in lower-middle market firms to identify new growth opportunities through organic means or acquisitions.
