Accenture to acquire Mindcurv to boost commerce services

ESSEN, GERMANY — Accenture Song, the digital agency arm of outsourcing firm Accenture, is set to acquire Mindcurv, a firm that specializes in composable commerce.
The deal, subject to customary closing conditions, will merge Mindcurv’s 700 employees with Accenture Song’s commerce division.
Citing its own study, Accenture found that the ecommerce market is expected to exceed $8 trillion worldwide by 2027. Data shows that 94% of consumers purchase goods through online shops. However, only 20% of companies are profitable.
Accenture Song and Mindcurv look to aid firms help businesses grow its online presence and revenues.
Founded in 2011, Mindcurv specializes in composable software, digital engineering and commerce services. The firm helps firms design and implement digital platforms.
Mindcurv has 200 clients worldwide from manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, life sciences and chemicals.
