Happiest Minds launches new vertical organization structure

INDIA, UNITED STATES, and UNITED KINGDOM — Indian digital transformation and information technology (IT) solutions provider Happiest Minds Technologies has announced its new vertical organization structure.
The structure comprises six industry groups (IG) with corresponding heads.
Poornima Bethmangalkar will lead the industrial manufacturing and energy & utilities; Srinivas Iyengar for healthcare & life sciences; Priya Prasad for retail, consumer packed goods and logistics; Subhais Bandyopadhyay for banking, financial services & insurance, and Viswanath Subramaniam for hi-tech and media & entertainment.
The head of education technology will be announced in the coming weeks.
Each IG head will be responsible for the vertical’s business plan, go-to-market strategy, sales, domain capability, and customer and employee satisfaction. They will have dedicated teams comprising business development managers and other staff with vast experience in the segment.
Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies, noted that this new structure will help the firm reach $1 billion in revenues by 2031.
“This verticalization is a major event in the evolution and growth of Happiest Minds changing the foundations of our organization structure, while significantly augmenting our sales prowess and accelerating growth,” added Joseph Anantharaju, Executive Vice Chairman & CEO (PDES), Happiest Minds Technologies.
According to Crunchbase, the firm has raised $105.9 million through two funding rounds. Last year, it announced a plan to hire 1,300 software engineers to grow its artificial intelligence division.
