AVer Information, SKS team up to boost remote healthcare

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — Telehealth firm AVer Information has partnered with security systems company Shin Kong Security (SKS) to aid healthcare workers in rural areas with 4K cameras.
The two firms have formed “Care U,” a comprehensive remote care service that operates 24 hours a day and provides emergency rescue and GPS location tracking.
It is equipped with AVer MD330U, a medical-grade camera that allows visitors to experience the advanced telemedicine care system firsthand.
The camera has several features, including a 4K sensor, 30X optical zoom, and a detachable camera head, enabling healthcare professionals to capture high-quality images of patients from various angles.
“Smart health is one of the main areas we’re co-working closely with AVer today,” said Leo Hsu, the Chief Operating Officer of SKS. “Care U supported by the AVer MD330U enables us to attend to more patients, especially those in remote areas unable to pay regular visits to hospitals.”
By combining AVer’s expertise in telehealth solutions with SKS’s security services, Care U aims to enhance remote healthcare, bridging the gap between patients and medical professionals, especially in underserved areas.
Founded in 2008, AVer Information’s suite of services includes AI auto-tracking and professional PTZ cameras, document cameras, charge and sync carts, classroom audio systems, medical-grade cameras, and video conferencing solutions.
