Transcosmos opens Sapporo BPO center, expands construction digital services
TOKYO, JAPAN — Business process outsourcing (BPO) provider transcosmos has opened its new BPO Center Sapporo Kita-Hachijyo.
Located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, this center is dedicated to accelerating digital transformation (DX) in the construction industry, from planning to the incorporation of digital tools on-site.
Strategic support for the construction industry
Business transformation is accelerating in the construction sector due to new work style reform laws that took effect in Japan this year.
From five centers across Japan and overseas, transcosmos now offers a suite of digital services tailored for the construction industry.
The center aims to enhance the digital capabilities of construction sites that have increasingly embraced information and communication technology (ICT) tools.
However, despite the advancements, many companies still struggle to fully integrate these tools into daily operations, which hampers their ability to leverage digital data effectively.
The new Sapporo center will provide end-to-end support spanning project planning, technology implementation, and integrating digital tools into field operations.
In addition to leveraging industry-standard software, transcosmos develops custom tools to solve client-specific challenges at each stage of the construction process.
Optimizing construction with technology
By partnering with its affiliate APPLIED TECHNOLOGY, transcosmos aims to help construction companies optimize their entire business through the strategic use of digital technologies.
The new 280-workstation BPO center will offer services like “to BIM” and “Construction Digital BPO” to assist clients in solving operational hurdles through digitization.
