Amwins acquires Kilpatrick, expands benefits offerings in Texas market

NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES — Amwins, a global distributor of specialty insurance products and services, has acquired Kilpatrick Companies, a Houston-based general agency specializing in employee and individual benefits, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see Kilpatrick Companies merge with Amwins Connect, a national general agency that provides a comprehensive range of health and ancillary insurance solutions to brokers and consultants across the U.S.
