Accenture completes Logic acquisition, boosts retail tech capabilities

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Outsourcing giant Accenture has completed its acquisition of Logic, a retail technology services firm headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
The deal, initially announced on July 16, 2024, expands Accenture’s reach in the retail sector by incorporating Logic’s specialized skills in merchandising, store operations, digital, analytics, and cloud technologies.
Moreover, Logic’s proficiency in artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI is seen as a strategic asset that will further drive innovation for Accenture’s clients.
Expanding retail expertise
The acquisition brings approximately 800 professionals with specialized skills in retail-focused technical strategies to Accenture Technology.
Founded in 1997, Logic has offices in 11 countries and serves more than 150 retail clients globally. The company specializes in driving customer loyalty, boosting revenue, and increasing agility through innovative technology solutions.
