Thrive expands New England reach with SNS deal

MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES — Thrive, a global technology outsourcing provider specializing in cybersecurity, cloud, and managed IT services, announced its acquisition of Secured Network Services (SNS), an IT provider based in New Hampshire.
This marks Thrive’s twelfth acquisition in two years.
Strategic market expansion
Thrive, which currently generates annual revenue of $33.5 million, will strengthen its New England presence by incorporating SNS’s New Hampshire operations.
SNS, founded in 2002, brings $9.7 million in revenue along with specialized expertise in healthcare, non-profit, and municipal government sectors.
The timing is particularly significant as the industry faces new cybersecurity challenges, including proposed changes to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy and security rules expected in 2025.
Enhanced service portfolio
The combined entity will offer an expanded range of services, including:
- 24/7/365 managed IT services and network operations
- Hybrid cloud solutions
- Advanced cybersecurity services
- Disaster recovery solutions
“SNS’ similar philosophy of providing the highest caliber of technical expertise and unwavering dedication to customers greatly resonated with us,” said Bill McLaughlin, CEO of Thrive.
“Coupled with their deep vertical knowledge, SNS will ensure we continue delivering the best technology solutions to businesses across industries.”
SNS Founder & CEO Kevin Low expressed enthusiasm about the merger: “Our mission of helping businesses get the most from their technology aligns seamlessly with Thrive’s dedication to delivering outsized ROI and the best technology outcomes for each customer.”
The acquisition follows Thrive’s recent investments from Berkshire Partners and Court Square Capital Partners. This consolidation strengthens Thrive’s position as one of the largest managed services providers in the Northeast, serving clients across New England, New York, New Jersey, and beyond.
