Next-gen outsourcing powered by AI and cloud platforms
de Novo Solutions is launching an AI-powered shared services operation that aims to improve back-office functions for public sector organizations.
By combining Oracle Cloud and ServiceNow platforms with advanced artificial intelligence, Welsh tech aims to streamline the following functions while accelerating digital transformation:
The first offer, a payroll outsourcing service for UK Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) will debut in Spring 2026, targeting complex education sector needs like teacher pension schemes and evolving regulations through its Odyssea industry cloud solution.
“Without doubt this is the largest entrepreneurial move that we have ever undertaken, but with over 20 years of experience in building and operating the systems that underpin such Shared Services operations, and having an in-depth knowledge of the UK Public Sector, Oracle Cloud and ServiceNow platforms and the advances in Artificial Intelligence, we can build and deliver something that takes others many years to achieve in a very short space of time,” said Mark Sweeny, Founder and Chief Executive of de Novo Solutions.
Strategic expansion with local and global impact
While headquartered in Newport, South Wales, with recruitment prioritizing local talent to boost the Welsh economy, de Novo’s ambitions extend globally through its Chennai operations.
The company plans to scale beyond education, targeting UK central government departments and local authorities seeking alternatives to conventional shared services models.
“Coupled with being able to move quickly, and the ability to leverage the company’s infrastructure, including our Indian operations, there is no better time to expand and enter this market.” Tim Warner, Chairman of de Novo Solutions said.
The model crafted aims for significant labor cost savings without sacrificing service quality, a balance that could be benchmarked in outsourcing standards.
