Converge merges with Mainline to form Pellera Technologies

ONTARIO and QUEBEC, CANADA — Converge Technology Solutions Corp. has officially been acquired by H.I.G. Capital and merged with Mainline Information Systems to form Pellera Technologies, a $4 billion IT solutions provider aiming to lead the enterprise tech market.
A new name in enterprise IT
The newly combined company, Pellera Technologies, will focus on delivering enterprise-grade services in cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure.
The move combines the technical depth and client networks of Converge, a Canadian IT and cloud solutions provider, with Mainline, a U.S.-based firm known for its enterprise IT consulting and system integration.
With operations spanning North America, Europe, and beyond, the new company aims to serve mid-market and enterprise clients with a broader portfolio of tech solutions. Pellera is headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, and employs thousands globally.
The merger was backed by H.I.G. Capital, a global private equity firm managing $69 billion in assets. With this acquisition, H.I.G. expands its presence in the high-growth tech infrastructure sector.
Leadership team unites industry veterans
Former Converge CEO Greg Berard now leads Pellera as Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Dobbelaere, previously President and CEO of Mainline, will serve as President and Chief Operating Officer. The leadership team brings over 100 years of combined experience in the IT sector.
“We’re combining the bold vision, unmatched talent, innovative solutions, and trusted partnerships of Mainline and Converge to deliver differentiated value and elevate the customer experience,” Berard said.
“With H.I.G.’s support, we’re accelerating investments in areas like AI, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, app modernization, data, and managed services, with the goal of becoming the provider of choice for comprehensive technology solutions.”
Dobbelaere added, “Together, we have stronger relationships with our industry-leading partners, unlocking greater access and broader solutions for our clients.”
“H.I.G. is excited to integrate two trusted and complementary IT solutions partners,” said Aaron Tolson, Managing Director at H.I.G. “The combined business offers enhanced solutions that will enable customers to reach the next level.”
