Japan’s transcosmos expands in South Korea with two new centers

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — Japanese business process outsourcing (BPO) firm transcosmos inc. has expanded its presence in South Korea with the launch of two new contact centers in Seoul’s Guro District.
The new facilities—CX Square Guro 2 and 3—add 900 workstations to the company’s regional network, bringing its total in the Guro area to more than 1,200.
The move addresses growing business demand and positions the company to better serve both new and existing clients with scalable, high-quality customer support.
Strengthening regional operations
Transcosmos Korea, which employs around 10,000 people and serves more than 350 clients, said the new centers will help solve capacity shortages while boosting operational resilience and service quality.
Located within a five-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex station, the new centers also benefit from convenient transport access and proximity to major business infrastructure in southwest Seoul.
Designed for productivity and employee well-being
The facilities were built with employee welfare in mind. In addition to modern workstation layouts, they feature amenities such as nap rooms, team meeting areas, lounges, and on-site training facilities—designed to support peak-season surges and foster collaboration.
Transcosmos emphasized that both centers were designed with long-term daily operations in mind, from location planning to the layout of learning spaces.
Founded in 1966, transcosmos operates 185 bases across 36 countries, offering services in customer support, digital marketing, e-commerce, IT solutions, and more. In South Korea, its offerings range from contact center management to omnichannel system development and education consulting.
