ManpowerGroup opens Paris AI HR hub to advance human-centered work

PARIS, FRANCE — ManpowerGroup, a global provider of workforce solutions, has opened a new AI HR Hub at its French headquarters in La Défense, Paris. The new facility signals a bold move to fuse artificial intelligence with human-centered talent solutions.
The announcement was made at the eighth Choose France Summit, hosted by President Emmanuel Macron, spotlighting France as a destination for global innovation and investment.
Advancing AI with a human touch
The AI HR Hub will serve as a Regional Center of Excellence, building and scaling next-generation technologies across ManpowerGroup’s global brands—Manpower, Experis, and Talent Solutions.
The initiative reflects the company’s “Human-First, Digital-Always” philosophy, aiming to deliver more inclusive and agile talent experiences using generative AI and agentic technologies.
“This investment reflects our trust in France and Europe’s digital future and our shared vision of developing human-centered AI solutions that will shape the future of work,” said Jonas Prising, Chair & CEO of ManpowerGroup.
Driving smarter talent solutions
The Hub’s core focus areas include:
- Enhanced Candidate Journeys: GenAI-driven career guidance, job-matching, and real-time skills assessments.
- Smarter Client Solutions: Predictive analytics to support hiring and strategic workforce planning.
- Empowered HR Agents: AI-powered tools that boost recruiter capacity and personalize candidate experiences.
Strategic investment in France and beyond
ManpowerGroup plans to invest over €200 million ($228 million) in innovation and training in France over the next three years, while also creating 30 new Manpower branches and more than 200 high-skilled jobs across the country. The move aligns with the company’s support for the EU’s AI Act and broader efforts to promote responsible, ethical AI innovation.
“As France emerges as a powerhouse for AI development, we are excited to support the growth of a strong talent pool with forward-looking regulation and global influence. Paris is an ideal location for ManpowerGroup’s AI HR Hub,” said Riccardo Barberis, Northern Europe and France President at ManpowerGroup.
“Our goal is to use innovation to develop human-centered AI solutions for our clients and candidates, enhancing human potential and transforming how work gets done.
