Straive acquires SG Analytics to expand global AI, data capabilities

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE and NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Global data analytics company Straive has announced its acquisition of SG Analytics (SGA) to boost its operationalization of AI systems across different sectors, including banking and financial services, together with technology and media industries.

SGA has operated under the leadership of CEO Sid Banerjee since its 2007 inception and stands out because it successfully embeds domain knowledge into advanced data workflow processes.
The company achieved recognition through its consultative method and AI-native delivery models, which resulted in measurable business value at the intersection of data research and domain-based insights.
The acquisition of SGA by Straive finds support from Straive’s Chief Executive Officer Ankor Rai, who stated, “[SGA’s] experience in deploying industry-grade workflows that integrate internal and external data with expert research and domain-specific insight is unique. These expanded capabilities and increased scale will accelerate outcomes for all our clients and enhance opportunities for our joint teams.”

The acquisition of SGA will help Straive expand its presence in key sectors, which include banking and financial services, as well as information services, technology, media, and telecom.
Straive is ranked #107 in the OA500 2025, an objective index that ranks the world’s top outsourcing companies.
Straive’s Chief Analytics & AI Officer Namit Sureka mentioned that SGA expands their existing market presence in Banking & Financial Services, as well as Information Services, Technology, Media and Telecom, and additional strategic verticals.
