Britehouse goes independent after split from NTT Data

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA — Britehouse, formerly known as Britehouse Mobility, is entering a fresh era of independence and innovation following a management buyout that acquired the business from global IT provider NTT Data.
The transaction, finalized for an undisclosed sum, marks what Executive Chairman Graham Parker calls “a pivotal moment in Britehouse’s journey.”
“After several successful years operating as part of the global NTT Data group, Britehouse is excited to return to its roots as an independent, South African-led business,” Parker said.

Founded in 2009 as part of the Dimension Data Group, Britehouse has expanded from its South African origins to serve clients in over 15 countries. NTT Data, the IT and business services giant headquartered in Tokyo, retains its enterprise applications division as part of its strategic refocus on core strengths.

The company reported net sales of ¥4.63 trillion (approximately US$31 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 2025 and employs approximately 198,000 people worldwide.
