WNS debuts AI-led aTOM platform to transform global finance

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — WNS has launched Agile Target Operating Model (aTOM), an AI-led digital platform designed to help global financial organizations streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Digital command center for finance leaders
The aTOM platform, powered by BusinessOptix, is designed to deliver what WNS describes as “end-to-end process reimagination” across the finance value chain. This includes critical functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and tax & treasury.
According to WNS, aTOM enables clients to move seamlessly from diagnostics to value realization by combining governance frameworks, benchmarking, analytics, and transformation accelerators with AI-powered tools.
In early client collaborations, the platform has delivered cost savings of nearly 40% and productivity improvements exceeding 50%, alongside greater adoption of AI within finance organizations.
“Improved visibility across operations using a unified digital command center equips finance leaders with the tools to optimize performance, drive process efficiencies, and drive tangible cost savings. As a result, aTOM is an important building block for leaders who are seeking to drive improved performance and business outcomes,” said Keshav R. Murugesh, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WNS.
Partnership boosts finance transformation
BusinessOptix, the technology partner behind aTOM, highlighted how the platform addresses the growing complexity of finance management.
Peter McInally, CEO of BusinessOptix, noted, “By unifying process intelligence, governance and value realization into one platform, aTOM enables finance leaders to deliver measurable outcomes faster. Together with WNS, we are equipping organizations to adapt with confidence, unlock new efficiencies, and drive sustainable growth in an increasingly complex business environment.”
The platform also enables WNS to transition its services into business functions beyond finance and deeper into larger global businesses.
With more than 150 Chief Financial Officer (CFO) offices already among its clients, WNS has previously generated over $1 billion in incremental cash flow opportunities through finance and accounting services.
Future of finance outsourcing
The debut of aTOM highlights how outsourcing providers are evolving beyond traditional cost-cutting to become enablers of digital transformation, as finance leaders demand greater agility and measurable outcomes. Platforms like aTOM show how AI can reshape the value proposition of outsourcing.
In an industry long associated with scale and efficiency, WNS is announcing that its future is about blending technology, governance, and innovation to achieve sustained results for its global clients.
WNS is ranked #22 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
