Fusion CX buys Scribe.ology to power U.S. healthcare expansion

GEORGIA and TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Fusion CX has finalized the integration of Scribe.ology, a United States healthcare documentation firm, which it acquired earlier this year.
The strategic move significantly bolsters Fusion CX’s portfolio in the American healthcare sector by combining its global scale and artificial intelligence platforms with specialized clinical scribe services, aiming to reduce administrative burdens for providers.
Fusion CX recently ranked #231 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
Fusion CX strengthens U.S. healthcare operations
Fusion CX’s acquisition of Scribe.ology for $300,000 represents a targeted strategy to deepen its footprint in the lucrative U.S. healthcare market. This is not an isolated move but part of a consistent pattern of growth through strategic purchases, following the acquisitions of firms like S4 Communications and an investment in RCC BPO.
The company is actively executing a long-term growth vision, a direction underscored by its filing for an initial public offering in India earlier this year.
The integration immediately grants Fusion CX access to a 2011-founded firm, Scribe.ology, and its established client base of large U.S. healthcare systems and physician groups.
By incorporating Scribe.ology’s in-facility and remote scribe services and over 20 specialties, such as documented patient encounters in real-time, improved accuracy of electronic health records (EHRs), and enhanced overall clinical workflow efficiency, Fusion CX can now offer a more comprehensive suite of solutions directly to healthcare organizations.
This expansion is further supported by the company’s physical growth, including the recent opening of new facilities in Chennai and Navi Mumbai, which aim to increase its workforce to over 10,000 employees in India.
Human expertise meets AI innovation in healthcare
A core outcome of this integration is the fusion of specialized human expertise with advanced technology to address critical inefficiencies in healthcare. Fusion CX‘s “human-plus-tech” approach leverages its AI-driven platforms alongside Scribe.ology’s clinical scribe expertise.
The merger will be in a position to provide services such as real-time documentation and AI-assisted scribing that are aimed at taking away the administrative burden of medical professionals.
Such a partnership is designed to enhance operational efficiency and patient care. The service enables the providers to spend more time with patients and reduces patient dissatisfaction by undertaking non-clinical activities and data entry.
According to company leadership, the ultimate objective is to assist healthcare organizations in decreasing administrative strains, becoming more effective, and increasing patient results in an ever-more digital-first environment.
Fusion CX honored for inclusive business impact
In other news, FusionCX’s impact initiative “Impact Sourcing – NAPS/NATS” has been recognized as the winner of the Silver Award in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the OIR 2025 Awards by Outsource Accelerator.
The Outsourcing Impact Review (OIR) celebrates organizations that leverage outsourcing to drive measurable social and business transformation. Now in its third year, the OIR highlights projects that redefine workplace culture, community engagement, and sustainable innovation across the global outsourcing industry.
Launched in response to high youth unemployment and the persistent skills gap, Fusion CX embedded NAPS and NATS into its core talent engine, treating apprenticeships not as add-ons but as fundamental, scalable business drivers. These government-backed programs have become a replicable blueprint, now extending from the original Kolkata hub into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India. Fusion CX stands as a model for impact sourcing, youth empowerment, and a scalable, win-win relationship between talent and enterprise.
