Accenture acquires RANGR Data to boost AI, Palantir business

Accenture acquires RANGR Data to boost AI, Palantir business

DUBLIN, IRELAND, and TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Accenture, a professional services company, has acquired the United States-based RANGR Data, a certified Palantir partner, to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) and data transformation capabilities significantly.

The move strengthens Accenture’s engineering talent and is designed to accelerate commercial growth for its Palantir business, directly addressing rising client demand for AI-powered enterprise reinvention.

“RANGR joins Accenture’s global Palantir business as a key driver for commercial expansion in North America, where our customers are laser focused on driving scaled transformation through AI,” said Bryan Rich, Global Palantir Capability Lead at Accenture.

AI boost for Palantir business growth

Accenture, with a 2025 revenue of $69 billion, provides strategy, consulting, technology, and operations services to over 9,000 clients across more than 120 countries. The company also previously ranked #2 in OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s 500 top outsourcing companies.

This acquisition of RANGR Data is part of its ongoing strategy to invest in specialized AI capabilities, following recent acquisitions of firms such as Decho, Halfspace, and NeuraFlash to accelerate enterprise reinvention for its clients.

RANGR Data, born from the foundation of AXIS Data, distinguishes itself as a firm of operators who build, deploy, and execute solutions rather than merely advising.

As a certified Palantir partner, the company specializes in implementing Palantir Foundry and AIP to drive tangible outcomes, focusing on exposing inefficiencies and accelerating transformation within client operations from the frontline to the C-suite.

Strategic expansion of AI and data capabilities

The team of 40 highly skilled professionals that Accenture is acquiring from RANGR has extensive experience with Palantir’s core platforms. This introduction of strategic advisors and developers helps Accenture plan, create, and implement bespoke, outcome-based solutions for its customers, thereby increasing its market presence.

The move solidifies a foundation of forward-deployed engineers who work directly with clients to navigate complex transformations.

The strategic intent is to use RANGR as a catalyst for growing Accenture’s Palantir business, specifically in the U.S. market.

As Rich notes, “RANGR has a strong track record for the delivery of Palantir solutions, but what sets them apart is their ability to engage executives with a roadmap for transformation. RANGR expands our footprint in the market, enabling us to address growing client demand for AI-powered transformation.”

Driving enterprise reinvention across industries

The acquisition is centrally focused on enabling enterprise reinvention for clients by helping them leverage data to optimize complex operations. RANGR’s core service involves assisting organizations to optimize their operations through customized data strategies and tools.

Their expertise in critical areas such as supply chain management, enterprise system integration, and real-time analytics will now be deployed at a larger scale through Accenture’s global platform, enabling more clients to thrive amid complexity.

RANGR’s experience spans several key, operations-heavy industries, including consumer-packaged goods, manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, and energy.

According to John Boehm, CEO and Founder of RANGR, the company’s goal is to provide the clarity and tools these businesses need.

“By joining forces with Accenture, we aim to help even more clients unlock the power of their data to fuel better business decisions, while offering exciting new opportunities for our people,” Boehm said.

This acquisition is part of a broader series of strategic moves by Accenture to bolster its AI offerings, underscoring a commitment to leading client transformation.
