TaskUs expands India AI ops with new Noida hub

NOIDA, INDIA — TaskUs, a global outsourcing firm, has launched a new operations site, HeritEdge, in Noida, India, to meet the growing global demand for outsourced digital services.
The facility, the company’s fifth in India, will focus on delivering advanced AI Operations, Digital Customer Experience, and Trust & Safety support for innovative sectors.
“India is an essential part of our global strategy, and I am excited to further scale our innovative AI and digital services in India,” said Bryce Maddock, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TaskUs.
“This expansion into Noida ensures we continue to attract the world’s best digital-native talent, enhancing our delivery capabilities to meet the growing needs of our global client base.”
India expansion and AI services growth
The establishment of the HeritEdge site is a direct response to the increasing global requirement for sophisticated digital outsourcing. TaskUs is strategically deepening its investment in India, an essential market for scaling its service capabilities.
The new Noida hub is the company’s fifth hub in the country and will be focused on providing advanced services, including Digital Customer Experience, Trust and Safety, and AI Operations. This growth highlights India as a base of operations for the world’s most innovative firms.
Noida’s decision was motivated by the strategic benefits of being a commercial and technology hub in the National Capital Region. The city provides excellent access to modern infrastructure and a large pool of highly educated talent, both essential for delivering the complex services TaskUs offers.
As Stephan Daoust, Chief Operating Officer (COO), noted, the proximity to over 500 higher education institutions and the area’s technology ecosystem enable the company to “tap directly into a highly educated, multilingual workforce, enhancing our capacity to serve clients across multiple regions and complex regulatory environments.”
People-first workplace design at HeritEdge
A central tenet of this expansion is TaskUs’s commitment to its “People-first” philosophy, which it believes is directly linked to operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.
The HeritEdge facility is specifically designed with employee engagement and wellness as a priority, resulting in an environment that attracts and retains top talent in digital-native products.
“HeritEdge is a representation of TaskUs’ dedication to our teammates, offering them a space that is ridiculously supportive and engaging. When we prioritize our people’s well-being and growth, they deliver excellence,” said Sapna Bhambani, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations and Country Leader, India at TaskUs.
The given strategy is reflected in the site’s provision of many collaborative areas, specific wellness rooms, a cafeteria, and training rooms, serving both performance and well-being.
This emphasis on corporate culture and employee care has been seen as a major point of differentiation in the competitive outsourcing market.
This approach is gaining recognition, and TaskUs India has now been rated a Great Place to Work in 2025 and one of the Top 10 Inspiring Workplaces in Asia, which confirms its formula of providing employees with a conducive workplace while delivering high-impact service.
It is projected that the Noida site will currently have more than 500 people, rising to 1,300 in 2026, indicating the company’s determination to expand its workforce and physical infrastructure.
Expansion amid security scrutiny
The launch of a new operations hub in India comes amid significant challenges that the firm has faced. It can be recalled that TaskUs abandoned its plan to go private after major shareholders rejected a $16.50-per-share buyout by Blackstone and the company’s co-founders, citing substantial undervaluation of the firm.
The failed acquisition bid was further complicated by a class-action lawsuit alleging that a TaskUs employee was central to a major data breach that compromised tens of thousands of Coinbase customers, intensifying scrutiny of offshore data security.
Even with these industry headwinds, as evidenced by the 65.5% growth of the AI services division within TaskUs over a year, the incentive to operate at scale and with technological power is a market force.
The tactical expansion into new locations, therefore, indicates a twofold necessity: to capitalize on the prospects of high-growth services such as AI and, at the same time, to overcome increased investor and client demands for governance and security.
Such a dynamic highlights a critical point at which outsourcing companies need to balance aggressive growth with stringent risk management to maintain confidence and a competitive edge.
TaskUs previously ranked #19 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
