BOOST secures The Brydon Group investment, appoints Danny Clark as CEO

VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES — BOOST, a provider of back-office support to government contractors (GovCon), announced a strategic growth investment from The Brydon Group and the appointment of Danny Clark as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The move will position the company to expand its service offerings and grow its operations in the federal contracting ecosystem.
Scaling compliance solutions for government contractors
Stephanie Alexander, Founder and Executive Chair of BOOST, notes, “With the support of The Brydon Group, we’re positioned to introduce new service capabilities, create even greater opportunities for our team’s professional growth, and maintain the exceptional client service that has been our hallmark.”
It is this influx of resources that is intended to divide the company into a true partner to the government contracting community, both new and large, and established companies.
The operational and compliance requirements are met through the solutions offered by BOOST, which have already supported close to 800 contractors since the company was founded in 2012.
The company provides accounting, finance, HR, recruiting, contract administration, procurement, pricing, and strategic business advisory services and can take clients at any stage of their growth lifecycle.
The investment from Brydon seeks to leverage these robust foundations and help BOOST replicate its winning formula, delivering greater value in an evolving compliance environment.
“BOOST has built a trusted platform that addresses critical needs for a growing segment of the federal contracting ecosystem. We look forward to supporting the company as it expands its service offerings and continues delivering exceptional value to current and future clients,” said Steve Ressler, Managing Partner at The Brydon Group.
New leadership to drive defense and tech innovation
The transition to new CEO Danny Clark signals a shift in strategic direction to fast-track BOOST’s vision. As Executive Chair of the Advisory Board, Alexander will be strategically engaged in the company’s development.
Clark’s experience is considered invaluable in managing the modern contracting environment. As Alexander notes, “Danny brings a unique perspective from both his time in industry and as a federal official that will be invaluable as we enter this next phase.”
The leadership shift is positioned as an extension of the company tradition. “I am excited to build on Stephanie’s legacy and bring BOOST’s services to an ever-changing federal contracting landscape – including delivering compliance solutions tailored for dual-use and defense technology innovators whose mission is more important than ever,” said Clark.
This indicates a targeted expansion of BOOST’s service reach, adapting its core compliance and operational support to meet the needs of cutting-edge government contractors in a mission-critical environment.
BOOST will maintain its team structure and operational focus on the government contracting industry. SbLiftOff acted as advisors to BOOST in the transaction with The Brydon Group, the terms of which were not publicly disclosed.
