Hexaware, CareInsight partner to scale enterprise AI in healthcare

NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA, and CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Global IT services firm Hexaware Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with artificial intelligence (AI)-native healthcare company CareInsight to deploy production-grade AI at scale for health plans and providers.
The partnership aims to address fragmented data environments and legacy system constraints by embedding specialized AI agents directly into core administrative and clinical workflows.
Embedding AI for operational efficiency
The intersection of this partnership lies in CareInsight implementing its AI-native offerings, such as careassistant.ai, carewallet.ai, voice assist, and health3d.ai, into Hexaware’s current healthcare services.
Through their integration, the partnership aims to deliver intelligent care management, automated patient engagement, and real-time analytics across the care continuum.
The integration will go beyond isolated experiments in artificial intelligence and assist with enterprise-wide implementation across the various administrative functions of claims processing, utilization management, and appeals and grievances.
Hexaware is a global technology and business process services (BPS) company with an annual revenue of $1.5 billion and 33,000 staff, providing significant digital transformation capabilities to the venture.
By combining its capabilities in building, transforming, and optimizing business processes with CareInsight’s purpose-built AI agent, the companies aim to reduce administrative burden and improve operational coordination.
The collaborative task will focus on the practical application of AI and support the consolidation of data flows and the ability to make informed, timely healthcare choices.
As Raj Kadam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CareInsight, notes, “By combining our AI-native platform and intelligent agents with Hexaware’s proven track record in enterprise implementation and deep healthcare domain expertise, we can help organizations move from AI pilots to production-scale deployment faster than ever before.”
Driving compliance and value-based care
As healthcare organizations shift their model of value creation from a cost-containment to a data-driven care approach, payer and provider organizations face the shortcomings of legacy systems, regulatory strains, and evolving utilization trends.
The partnership enables the adoption of a regulatory-ready architecture, secure data integration, and compliance with new healthcare regulations.
The joint offering aims to help the industry manage fragmented data environments through workflow automation and enhanced decision-making, and to achieve large-scale value-based care models.
Shantanu Baruah, President and Global Head of Healthcare, Life Sciences & Insurance, Hexaware, notes, “Our partnership with CareInsight reflects Hexaware’s commitment to move beyond technology modernization toward outcome-driven transformation.”
“Together, we will help payers and providers operationalize AI at scale, accelerate value-based, equitable care, and deliver measurable, real-world impact for our customers.”
Hexaware ranked #18 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2026 edition of the OA500 is expected to be released in March. (Read the OA500 2026 methodology paper here.)
