Innovia Consulting buys 365Vertical, 365 Cannabis to grow ERP reach

WISCONSIN and NEVADA, UNITED STATES — Innovia Consulting, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultancy with over 35 years of industry experience, announced the acquisition of 365Vertical and 365 Cannabis

The move brings two specialized partners known for delivering tailored enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to highly regulated sectors into the Innovia portfolio, strengthening the company’s vertical market strategy and expanding its national footprint across the United States and Canada.

“This acquisition represents a powerful step forward in Innovia’s mission to deliver exceptional value through specialized industry solutions,” said Alan Wyne, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Innovia Consulting.

Expanding cannabis and regulated market ERP solutions

Acquisitions of 365Vertical and 365 Cannabis are strategic, as they enable Innovia to gain a stronger presence in markets with demanding operational and compliance requirements for conducting business in the highly regulated cannabis industry.

The reason is that 365 Cannabis is specifically targeted at the cannabis market because it offers a complete seed-to-sale ERP system that should be scaled to the businesses operating in the highly-regulated market segment.

Their platform will include new features developed from their personal industry experience and their desire to see their clients succeed; that is, they will focus on individual tracking, reporting, and inventory issues that cannabis businesses face daily.

An innovative team with a special program would bring instant credibility and technical capacity to Innovia in a rapidly evolving business world where legal compliance is a condition.

In addition to cannabis, 365Vertical provides Microsoft-based ERP and business management to other non-simplistic industries such as agriculture and manufacturing.

The move will enable Innovia to present potential and current customers with a more sophisticated system implementation strategy, going beyond generic ERP solutions to offer them systems that reflect the operational reality of these markets.

It has also said it would continue investing in vertical-specific product development, ensuring that specialized equipment sought by these industries remains a priority.

Wyne notes, “365Vertical and 365 Cannabis have built strong reputations for innovation, customer commitment, and deep vertical expertise. Bringing our organizations together allows us to serve customers with even greater breadth, depth, and strategic insight.”

Enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 integrations

The acquisition of these two companies will expand Innovia Consulting’s offerings with a new range of industry-specific solutions and will also enhance the core Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionalities.

Both 365Vertical and 365 Cannabis have established track records of assisting customers with complex operations and compliance requirements, a skill that will now be marketed to Innovia’s broad client base.

The acquisition also introduces groups of individuals with profound domain knowledge, so that clients in regulated industries will have access to consultants familiar with the technology and the legal and logistical policy regimes of their industries.

The transition is designed to be smooth for the existing customers of all three companies.  As Innovia indicated, it will continue to offer the high customer experience and service that defined both 365Vertical and 365 Cannabis before the acquisition.

The company will also seek strategic growth options, but with a focus on customer success; the already existing customers must still be treated individually, as they deserve.

Jeff Kiehn, CEO of 365Vertical and 365 Cannabis, notes, “Innovia’s culture, leadership, and long‑standing reputation in the Microsoft ecosystem make it the ideal partner to help us scale our solutions and continue delivering exceptional outcomes.”

“Together, we’re positioned to accelerate innovation and provide even more value to the industries we serve.”
