Tech Mahindra, SynaXG partner to develop AI-native wireless networks

MAHARASHTRA, INDIA, and SINGAPORE — Technology consulting provider Tech Mahindra and Singapore-based AI-RAN pioneer SynaXG have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly drive the development and deployment of AI-native, software-defined wireless network solutions.
The partnership aims to integrate SynaXG’s AI-native radio access network (AI-RAN) software with Tech Mahindra’s global digital transformation and network deployment expertise to help operators transition toward autonomous 5G-Advanced and 6G architectures.
Integrating AI-native RAN platforms globally
“As networks evolve toward higher levels of autonomy and software definition, AI-native RAN architectures will become foundational,” said Abhishek Malhotra, Global Business Head, Network Services of Tech Mahindra.
SYNAXG’s architecture helps operators, hyperscalers, and businesses implement high-performance, energy-efficient networks that can be monetized more efficiently.
This, together with the wide range of services offered by Tech Mahindra, such as consulting, IT, business process services, engineering, network services, and cloud infrastructure, will allow the two parties to fill the gap between innovative network architecture and large-scale and practical implementation.
The integration is projected to facilitate the rollout of open, modular, and interoperable wireless architectures, specifically the AI-RAN and O-RAN standards.
Common work is based on co-innovation and integration to develop solutions that enhance network performance, spectrum efficiency, and power consumption.
The partnership is aimed at meeting the network’s need to sense, learn, optimize, and scale automatically by integrating real-time intelligence with closed-loop automation across the entire network lifecycle.
The carrier-grade experience that Tech Mahindra has built through interactions with its more than 1,100 customers across 60+ countries helps it realise these advanced solutions.
Accelerating industry-specific private 5G networks
In addition to the enhanced infrastructure, the move is well-positioned to accelerate the implementation of private networks and industry-specific use cases.
SynaXG’s AI-RAN software platforms will be integrated into Tech Mahindra’s products to serve clients across manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, and critical infrastructure.
This will build on Tech Mahindra’s profound knowledge of enterprise applications and digital business transformation to design industry-specific AI-enabled network intelligence that goes beyond general connectivity.
The business component of the MoU aims to reduce the time-to-market for these high-end wireless solutions and broaden their global reach.
SynaXG, which collaborates closely with partners across the silicon, cloud, and AI industries, will have a strong channel-to-market presence through Tech Mahindra’s established global presence.
Mantosh Malhotra, Chief Business Officer, SynaXG, notes, “Together, we aim to accelerate the transition to intelligent, energy-efficient, and open wireless networks across both operator and enterprise environments.”
Tech Mahindra ranked #9 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2026 edition of the OA500 is expected to be released in March. (Read the OA500 2026 methodology paper here.)
