DUBLIN, IRELAND — Grant Thornton has appointed 12 new partners across its advisory, tax, and audit practices in Ireland, a move that significantly bolsters its leadership team during a period of exceptional growth.

In the audit practice, appointees like Sinéad Barrett, a firm veteran since 2004 now specializing in global statutory audits for shared service centers, and John Botha, a leader in the construction and engineering sector with 24 years of experience, highlight the depth of internal talent.
The addition of David Carroll, a partner focused on capital markets and asset management, signals a strategic push to deepen the firm’s foothold in complex, regulated financial sectors.
The tax and advisory practices have also been enhanced considerably, with professionals of diverse qualifications.
The tax team is highly experienced, with partners such as Julia Considine, with over 17 years of experience in the succession planning practice, Clare Fitzgerald, who has a multidisciplinary background in engineering and computer science with over 18 years of experience, and Mark O’Sullivan, who has over 17 years of experience in the successful tax reduction practice.
At the advisory level, the hiring of David Mac Curtain as the head of the actuarial and insurance risk practice and of Shane Quinn as the head of the global financial crime compliance teams shows that the firm is working towards creating focused centers of excellence to serve its clients globally.

Many of the new partners, such as John Botha and Nikita Lynn, have direct experience managing multi-jurisdictional engagements or holding senior roles in global companies.
