Accenture acquires Logic to boost retail tech capabilities

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Global professional services giant Accenture has announced its agreement to acquire Logic, a retail technology services firm based in Minneapolis.
While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, this move is expected to strengthen Accenture’s ability to drive technology transformations for retail clients worldwide.
Expanding retail expertise
The acquisition will add approximately 800 professionals with specialized skills in retail-focused technical strategies to Accenture’s workforce.

“The addition of Logic’s expertise and industry-specific skills will further enhance our ability to deliver comprehensive retail solutions and drive transformative outcomes for our clients to thrive in this dynamic marketplace.”
Founded in 1997, Logic brings a wealth of experience in retail technology. With offices in 11 countries and a client base of over 150 retailers globally, Logic specializes in driving customer loyalty, boosting revenue, and increasing agility through innovative technology solutions.
Strengthening technological capabilities in retail
The integration of Logic into Accenture’s operations will expand the company’s retail capabilities, particularly in areas such as merchandising, stores, digital, analytics, and cloud technologies.
Additionally, Logic’s expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI will drive innovation for Accenture’s clients.
