Accenture appoints new PH Country Manager

IT giant Accenture appointed Ambe Tierro as the new managing director for the Philippines, effective December 1.
Tierro brings over 30 years of experience in the industry and has held a wide range of management roles at Accenture in the Philippines.
Tierro has led large-scale tasks for Accenture in the past few years. Before her appointment, she was leading the Accenture Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in the Philippines. She also led big deals in the Communications, Media & Technology industries and was instrumental in driving Accenture’s supply innovation and industrialization program.
Accenture CEO for Growth Markets Leo Framil said that Tierro’s “extensive experience in enabling the technology-led transformation agenda for many of our clients across the globe, combined with her in-market experience and strategic industry relationships, makes her the right choice to lead our business in the Philippines.”
“I am confident that her leadership track record, passion for people, and commitment to inclusion will further build growth momentum and strengthen the 360-degree value that we create for our clients, people, shareholders, partners, and communities,” she added.
Tierro will be replacing Accenture’s previous managing director Lito Tayag.
