Accenture buys German insurance services firm

SIEGBURG/HAMBURG, GERMANY — Global professional services company Accenture has acquired ON Service GROUP, a business process services company specialized in insurance operations in Germany.
The acquisition enhances Accenture’s capabilities in insurance operations and managed services. It expands Accenture’s services for German insurers in areas like sales, policy administration and claims processing.
Headquartered in Siegburg with offices in Hamburg and Munich, ON Service GROUP has over 200 employees and more than 20 years of experience delivering services for property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
The acquisition allows Accenture to manage end-to-end insurance processes and help clients optimize operations, increase agility, and pursue digital growth.
Accenture previously acquired other insurance services companies, including Blackcomb Consultants, and Optimind.
