Accenture opening more GenAI studios in Asia Pacific, Latin America
SINGAPORE AND BRAZIL — Outsourcing firm Accenture is setting up more generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) studios across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Latin America, to meet the growing demand from firms to harness the power of the latest technologies.
Accenture, which has existing GenAI facilities in India and Singapore, will open new GenAI labs in Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Greater China, Japan, Mexico, and the Philippines.
Accenture reported that 77% and 84% of the C-suite in APAC and LATAM, respectively, plan to amplify their AI-related spending in 2024, according to its own survey.
The studios will be up and running in January 2024, except in Argentina and Mexico, which will join the network later this year.
Vivek Luthra, Data and AI lead for Accenture Growth Markets said: “Our generative AI Studios strengthen our existing investments in data and AI to provide our clients with a full spectrum of capabilities to build and scale AI to improve productivity and drive growth.”
The studios will extend its service offerings to firms across industries such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, public sector, manufacturing, renewable energy, chemicals and mining.
