Accenture, RELEX team up to aid Lowe’s seasonal inventory

NEW YORK and ATLANTA, UNITED STATES — Outsourcing firm Accenture and supply chain platform RELEX Solutions (RELEX) have joined forces to help retail company Lowe’s Companies, Inc. (Lowe’s) with its seasonal inventory planning.
Accenture will bring its wealth of experience in automation and artificial intelligence (AI), while RELEX will leverage its expertise in the home improvement retail sector.
Camille Fratanduono, Senior Vice President of Inventory, Replenishment and Planning at Lowe’s praised RELEX’s AI-driven inventory management platform.
“RELEX is well-known for their automation capabilities and exceptional dashboard. Working with both RELEX and Accenture aligns with our ongoing commitment to leveraging innovative solutions to enhance our business processes.”
Lowe is looking to enhance its seasonal planning amid its initiatives to deliver a personalized shopping experience to its customers.
The North Carolina-based retailer recently debuted a new VR design feature called Lowe’s Style Studio for Apple Vision Pro. Controlled using the user’s eyes and hands, it gives customers an immersive 3D kitchen experience.
Meanwhile, RELEX recently released RELEX Mobile Pro — an AI-driven platform that helps streamline the inventory chain. The app aims to enhance efficiency and minimize product spoilage.
“Agile, digital supply chain networks can drive growth and profitability in challenging times of ongoing disruption. Together with RELEX, we are helping companies like Lowe’s on a journey to improve operational agility and responsiveness to meet customer expectations,” said Jill Standish, global lead of Accenture’s Retail industry practice.
