ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, and TEXAS, UNITED STATES – Global workforce solutions provider Adecco has acquired Advantis Medical Staffing, a Texas-based firm specializing in travel nursing and allied health placements.
The move strategically deepens Adecco’s footprint in the North American healthcare sector, integrating Advantis’ specialized clinician network and technology platforms into its existing portfolio.

The acquisition strengthens Adecco’s presence in healthcare staffing in the United States. According to Geno Cutolo, President of Adecco North America, the investment targets one of the most durable and strategically important segments in the U.S. staffing market.
“Together, we’ll expand opportunities for clinicians, deliver even greater value for clients, and accelerate growth in a segment that touches lives every day,” he added.
This strategic growth is based on incorporating Advantis’ existing model, a combination of high-touch service and digital efficiency.
The combination of concierge-level service and advanced technology is one of the aspects that Cutolo identified as the driver behind the acquisition, as it sees it as the future of work in the human-centric industry.
The integration is expected to allow Adecco to deliver greater value to healthcare clients and expand opportunities for clinicians by leveraging Advantis’ scalable model and trusted reputation within the healthcare ecosystem.
