AI solutions firm Tenyx raises $15Mn in its latest seed round

Voice-based AI solutions developer Tenyx raised $15 million in a seed round headed by venture capitalist firms AME Cloud Ventures, Cota Capital, Morado Ventures, Pathbreaker Ventures, Point72 Ventures, and StageOne Ventures.
According to Tenyx CEO Itamar Arel, the firm will use this additional funding towards team expansion, the development of the company’s core technology, as well as building and delivering more voice-based AI products.
He added that Tenyx is already in talks with prospective customers in the contact center industry.
In a separate interview with TechCrunch, Arel stated that current AI models cannot “learn incrementally as new data becomes available.”
The startup CEO said that this is what Tenyx’s technology is trying to overcome to continue empowering “solutions that can improve their (AI models) performance.”
Point72 Ventures’ Dan Gwak, for his part, noted that “Tenyx has the potential to revolutionize the enterprise customer service market, allowing a wide range of businesses to dramatically improve the efficiency and effectiveness with which they help their customers.”
