AI to supercharge productivity, creativity – Accenture

NEW YORK and LAS VEGAS, UNITED STATES — Global professional services company Accenture has unveiled its Technology Vision 2024, predicting a massive technological shift towards more human-centric designs.
The research, presented at CES 2024, suggests that AI and other disruptive technologies will become more intuitive, amplifying human potential and reinventing industries.
“This important seismic shift in the way people work, live, and learn will accelerate a wave of unprecedented change across industries, from retail and entertainment to medicine and manufacturing,” said Paul Daugherty, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Accenture.
Accenture’s research indicates that generative AI could impact 44% of all working hours across industries in the U.S., unlock greater productivity across 900 different types of jobs, and create at least $8 trillion in global economic value.
The study also identifies four key trends: reshaping our relationship with knowledge, creating AI-empowered ecosystems, creating value in new realities, and a new human interface.
These trends are expected to redefine how information works in organizations, add value to the output of workers, produce avenues of more personalized interaction, and transform human-machine cooperation.
Accenture ranked #1 in the 2023 Time Doctor OA500, the first objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2024 edition of the OA500 will be released next month.
