Alibaba Cloud Philippines Ecosystem Alliance formed to accelerate digital transformation

Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, announced the formation of the Alibaba Cloud Philippines Ecosystem Alliance with the vision to speed up the digital transformation of businesses in the country.

The alliance is a joint initiative with local ecosystem partners to promote cloud adoption and utilization of analytics intelligence.

“The Philippines is a booming market with a big group of the young and digital-savvy population… There is a strong demand for digital transformation in accordance with the local government’s ‘cloud-first’ initiative,”said Leo Liu, GM of Hong Kong, Macau, Korea and Philippines, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence.

Alibaba Cloud currently has over 20 local partners from various industries such as information communications technology (ICT), business process outsourcing (BPO), and plans to help 5,000 businesses in the country on their digital migration by the end of 2023.
