Almost 19k job vacancies seen in Mindanao
Online job portal Jobstreet said that more than 18,000 employment opportunities are now available in Mindanao, specifically in Davao, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and Northern Mindanao.
This January, Jobstreet said that the job category that remains actively hiring in its platform is the call center/Information technology-enabled services/business process outsourcing (BPO).
For instance, leading BPO firm Six Eleven, which currently has offices in Davao and General Santos City, continues to hire more employees amid the pandemic. Currently, the leading BPO company is looking for front-end developers, accountants, customer service representatives, team leaders, and more.
