Alorica, DOT launch a virtual job fair

Global customer experience solutions firm Alorica Inc. partnered with the Department of Tourism (DOT) in launching the DOT x Alorica Job Fair to attract displaced workers from the tourism and food and beverage industries in the Philippines.
Through the initiative of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and the assistance of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), this virtual job fair aims to revitalize the local job market and employ thousands of job-seekers amid the pandemic.
The fair is scheduled to happen today with offers of seasonal and permanent employment opportunities for people who are interested to work in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
DOT Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat said that the agency “is thankful for the participation of BPO industries in this event, first conducted in September 2020. I am confident that the caliber and values of our tourism workers will be a great asset to your company…”
