Amplix expands tech advisory capabilities with InflowCX merger

CONNECTICUT & PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES — Amplix, a Massachusetts-based provider of technology advisory services, has acquired Oregon-based Inflow Communications LLC (InflowCX) for an undisclosed amount.
Amplix will merge InflowCX into its operations to expand its customer experience and contact center consulting capabilities.
Privately-held InflowCX generates around $27 million in annual revenue and employs over 100 people, according to ZoomInfo. The company provides strategic advisory, deployment, and managed services for contact centers, customer experience, and unified communications.
Amplix offers customer experience, data connectivity, security, cloud optimization and other tech advisory services. It has 60 employees and under $5 million in revenue, per ZoomInfo.
The combined company will retain the Amplix brand and headquarters in Norwood, led by Amplix CEO Joe DeStefano. It will serve over 3,500 customers in the United States with staff in 20+ states and Canada.
InflowCX CEO Ken Smith will join Amplix’s board, while InflowCX President Adam Rennert will lead the new customer experience practice.

Amplix was acquired in late 2022 by Gemspring Capital, a private equity firm with over $3 billion under management. The deal expands Gemspring’s portfolio of tech services firms.
