Chile’s Apiux Tech expands through Nectia Software acquisition

SANTIAGO, CHILE — Chilean tech consultancy Apiux Tech has acquired Nectia Software, for an undisclosed amount.
The merger signals a strong push towards expanding Apiux Tech’s footprint across Latin America and Europe.
Strategic growth and market impact
The acquisition aligns with Apiux’s “3×3” growth initiative, which aims to triple the company’s size by 2027. The combined entity is projected to generate over USD 20 million in annual revenue, with Nectia contributing an additional USD 2 million to the bottom line. Spain is expected to become a key market, accounting for 15% of revenue by year-end.
The integration strengthens Apiux’s service offerings with enhanced UX/UI capabilities, agile methodologies, and digital architecture expertise, complementing its existing portfolio of cloud solutions, AI and data services, and recently added cybersecurity offerings.
Service portfolio enhancement
The merger brings together complementary strengths. Apiux Tech, established in 2015, specializes in cloud computing, AI, data analytics, and digital transformation services. Nectia Software contributes two decades of expertise in platform development and user experience design, serving various sectors including banking, retail, and government institutions.
Francisco Figueroa, Apiux’s CEO and founder, emphasized that the acquisition brings not only enhanced technical capabilities and new clients but also a highly successful team that will drive the company’s global growth.
The consolidated workforce now comprises approximately 400 consultants operating across Chile, Spain, Colombia, Peru, and the United States, serving more than 45 clients. Notable clients include Banchile Inversiones, Banco BCI, and Camper Spain.
Carlos Yaconi, Nectia’s founder, who joins Apiux as partner and director, expressed optimism that the combination of their teams and capabilities will accelerate international expansion and technological advancement.
