Ascendion launches major hub in Mexico
NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES — Software engineering company Ascendion opened a new office in Monterrey, Mexico.
The new hub is expected to create 200 jobs within six months and 1,500 jobs over three years. This move could also generate an estimated $100 million for the Mexican economy.
Ascension CEO Karthik Krishnamurthy expressed optimism for the new office, stating it would soon be their largest software engineering hub outside India, emphasizing its focus on applied AI.
“We are thrilled about our newest office in Mexico and eagerly anticipate continuing our growth and partnership in the years to come,” he added.
Ravi Arcot, Ascendion’s VP and Country Manager for Mexico, highlighted Monterrey’s assets, including its vibrant economy, strong education system, impressive talent pool, and rich cultural heritage.
“Many of our clients are seeking engineering services from Mexico, and we are already delivering outstanding results from Monterrey,” Arcot stated.
With its new Monterrey office, Ascendion further solidifies its commitment to delivering advanced software solutions in Mexico and advancing Monterrey’s role in generative AI services.
Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of Economy of the Government of the State of Nuevo León, welcomed Ascendion’s move, noting that it could help position Nuevo León as a global tech and innovation hub.
