SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA — Consulting and outsourcing firm Auxis has announced a significant expansion of its Global Delivery Center in Costa Rica, aiming to add 500 new jobs by the end of 2023.

The firm will open a new state-of-the-art office in the America Free Zone (AFZ) business park in Heredia.

Raúl Vega, founder and CEO of Auxis, underscored Costa Rica’s key role in the company’s growth strategy, adding that the country “offers highly qualified talent and solid communication and collaboration that drive the highest level of performance in the face of business challenges such as talent shortages, economic uncertainty, and accelerating digital transformation.”

Auxis first established its Global Delivery Center in Costa Rica in 2009. This expansion is expected to bring the company’s total workforce in Costa Rica to 1,300 employees. Of the 500 new positions the company aims to fill by the end of 2023, 100 remain vacant.

Marianela Urgellés, Managing Director of the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE), commended Auxis for growing its local workforce fourfold since 2010 and expressed optimism about its future in healthcare and financial services.

The company’s Costa Rica expansion will focus on back office, front office, and IT services, targeting automation and digital transformation needs. Open roles will range from IT engineers and service agents to positions in accounting and finance.

For eight years, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has recognized Auxis as one of the top 100 global outsourcing service providers.

Auxis is a leading management consulting and outsourcing firm that focuses on finance and accounting, information technology, and customer service. According to ZoomInfo, Auxis’ revenue stands at $162.5 million.

In addition to Costa Rica, Auxis operates delivery centers in Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, and Argentina. Recently, it surpassed 1,000 employees across its United States headquarters and Latin American operations.
