BDE Group to set up new center in Fiji
Consulting and outsourcing provider BDE Group is getting ready to set up a new center in Fiji this April, with plans to employ around 30 to 40 people.
In an interview, BDE Group Founder Miles Blok said that they are in the process of incorporating their services in the country, “to really expand and focus all our energy on Fiji itself.”
After the expansion, the firm’s founder stated that they are planning to grow from an initial headcount of 30-40 to 100-200 employees “very quickly.”
On why they chose Fiji, Blok noted the country’s “real positive culture” and its hardworking and higher-skilled workforce.
Additionally, the efforts by both the government and the BPO Council over the last couple of years made the “industry mature phenomenally in a short period of time.”
BDE Group provides outsourcing support to Australian companies which were in the finance sector, including lenders and banks, among others.
