Boldr appoints COO as company president

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Business process outsourcing company Boldr has appointed Mari Parker as President.
In addition to her new role as company President, Parker will continue to hold her position as Chief Operating Officer, a post she’s held since August 2018.
“Elevating Mari to President also ties into the broader strategy of strengthening Boldr’s board in the foreseeable future. This is a step towards enhancing leadership diversity and expertise, setting the stage for further success,” said Boldr founder and Chief Executive Officer David Sudolsky.
Before joining Boldr, Parker was a Senior Manager at Amazon Global Logistics Operations. She also held managerial roles at freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing services firm UTi Worldwide. Parker is also a member of Chief, a private network for women leaders since October 2020.
Parker’s nomination comes as Boldr takes bold steps to address gender disparity and expand female representation and leadership over the long term. Women occupy just 25% of leadership roles and 14% of software engineering positions within the tech industry.
The company earlier announced a partnership with Fundación Quiu to sponsor its SisterSTEAM program, an initiative that offers mentoring, coaching, and resources to young women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
Considered the world’s largest B Corp-certified BPO and PEO firm, Boldr brands itself as a purpose-driven outsourcing company. It is currently subscribed to the Outsource Accelerator (OA) Source Partner Program, a powerful tool that helps BPO firms with marketing, sales, and business intelligence.
