Boldr partners with Fundación Quiu to empower women in tech

YUCATAN, MEXICO — Business process outsourcing (BPO) company Boldr recently announced a collaboration with Fundación Quiu to sponsor its SisterSTEAM program.
Launched in December 2023, SisterSTEAM is an initiative providing mentoring, coaching, and resources to young women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). It aims to address the gender disparity within the tech industry, where women occupy just 25% of leadership roles and 14% of software engineering positions.
“Boldr recognizes the urgency of addressing this gender gap and is excited to collaborate with organizations like Fundación Quiu that share the vision of empowering women in technology,” the firm said in a statement.
By supporting the next generation, SisterSTEAM intends to expand female representation and leadership over the long term.
As a sponsor, Boldr helped convene over 30 participants for SisterSTEAM’s inaugural kickoff by inviting women technologists from within its network. The partners hope to broaden SisterSTEAM’s reach by connecting with other organizations dedicated to advancing women in STEAM fields.
By pooling resources and capabilities, Boldr and Fundación Quiu aim to provide a springboard for the next wave of innovators and change makers leading women’s ascent across the tech landscape. SisterSTEAM exemplifies a collaborative approach focused on hands-on empowerment from the ground up.
Boldr is a purpose-driven outsourcing company and the world’s largest B Corp-certified BPO and PEO. It is currently subscribed to the Outsource Accelerator (OA) Source Partner Program, a powerful tool that helps BPO firms with marketing, sales, and business intelligence.
